Spent this past Saturday exploring my hood and came across this funky vintage store that felt like a flashback to the 70s, so I was very compelled to stop in. I have to say, going into these kinds of places alone feels super weird because you don't have someone dig through and laugh with about all your strange finds. Needless to say, I would definitely go back with a plus one.
I found a pair of vintage straight leg jeans I thought would be perfect to cut into cropped flare jeans that are starting to pop up everywhere. I'm obsessed with this summer style because they show off your fun sandals and don't feel so hot and tight like my go to skinny jeans.
They're also super easy to cut yourself. I just tried on the jeans and folded up one side to where I wanted them, then marked the other side before cutting straight across. To distress and fray the hem, I took the sharp edge of the scissors and ran across the bottom.
